1. Thats a DCC dampener, if someone is interested 😛 Took a picture while it was clean.

2. Just edited it out to be more less recognisable 😛

 

183km in the odometer so far, -29 from factory/transportation. 0 issues so far. 

 

Also happy to have both cars in Home Assistant. I've got a tablet in the hallway for quick car climatisation when leaving home.

How do you find the ride with the DCC? Did it meet your expectations?

 that’s an interesting looking app. What is it? Are you able to control the iv’s pre heating etc from it?

 

 Did your car come with a third key that you can use to preheat the car? I’ve seen some skoda superbs with that feature.

The Skoda emblem is from Kopacek, yes. The VRS one I bought from Benny's EmblemDesign (Facebook page). He takes original ebmlems and custom paint them. They are not cheap but it's top quality.

Thats a dashboard from home assistant (https://www.home-assistant.io/)

 

And yes, i can just tap on the tablet display to active heating/cooling. Uses the same API as the mobile app.

 

My car come with two keys and a key for Petrol heater (webasto). In summer its possible to use that as a ventilation, but i prefer to use AC from the app.

What about the Skoda logo projector under the door? I remember reading some posts on this forum from people planning to replace the light with a projector. In  your case was it factory fitted as part of a package? Or did you add it yourself?

The logo projector was factory fitted, I didn't order it separately. Unless it came with some package like ambient lights without me being aware of it. I just checked the specifications on the quotation and can't find it anywhere... 

Matej10 also mentioned gettting it without ordering, but missing blind spot detection.

I was asked, but didn’t go for it as no one guaranteed it would actually be faster.

Only took 474 days (since July 2021) Black RS, panorama roof, Canton, RS Plus pack (DCC, front assist). 

Wheels swapped and since photo just got new black personalised plate fitted instead of the standard white plate.  New front badges on their way to replace the chrome also...

Less than 30mins after collection.

11 month wait but finally worth it. 
 

After a while another subtle change. Now it is completely de-chromed. ☺️
