For a BH w/e surprisingly quiet even at main centre

 

Brutal Group ride today.. Plenty of climbing Inc a segment on Follow The Dog appropriately named Cardiac Hill 😳

Slightly easier Group ride today, 10 mile to start, Canal side ride to Cafe then back to start and then home a slightly longer way..

These I've watched over the last 2-3 years grow from frisky foals

 

Had a real blast yesterday. There has to be a joy to working a late shift!

 

Warm up going up the TPT to Woodhead Pass, then down the Northern HorseShoe Loop, back along the Longdendale trail, up Woodhead to the Old Road, down the Old Road, around Langsett Res then back across to the TPT and home in time to go to work

Quick ride out on the boneshaker this evening..Still 26c so mid ride pit stop at the English Pub for a Pint of St Austell Proper Job....

 

Who knew it was this easy…now to keep it lol.

 

 

 

Twas mostly road with a few segments of gravel, and a few to many point arrow roads the wrong way. But that’s good for you right?

 

MTB ride tonight in the cooler temps.....way more road than off though 😄

i have a few local legend titles around here, mostly on segments that most people do maybe twice and say feck that, where i go everytime im on the bike

 

 

Out a touch too late this morning, 30c at start, 90 mins later 35c and rising. Lovely warm water bottle too...

 

Back to reasonable 27c today 😀

 

 

I really must do the garden and fix the roof....

 

Somewhere there is a Deer on this pic....I managed to get closer by walking and I was upwind as well. I did manage a short video as it bounded away, I'll try and upload it later.
