  • Guys you must post your system model number and SW version first...

  • Downlad link you both have on PM. To get Android Auto you must have both display and glove box unit exchanged. If you are interested pls contact me on PM.

  • 5E0919605H is MIB2 screen so glove box unit must be exchanged as well

I have ti disappoint you - you have the most simple Bolero MIB1, I'm afraid there is no firmware with Hungarian language (I 'm sorry I don't have such unit to check).

Hi. @pab567 I have a 2014 Octavia with Bolero MIB1 (5E0035819A, HW 041, SW 0421).

I’ve read you might have the newer firmware (MU 0490 / MSTD_EU_SK_P6230).

Could you please share the file or let me know where I can safely download it?

I’d really appreciate your help!

Thanks a lot

Hello everybody.

Can someone please help me with upgrading my Bolero MIB1 in Skoda Fabia III 2016 (VIN: TMBEN6N************) - does anybody have newer SW version than my 0359 for sending me? What is the newest stable SW version for this model?

It started freezing sometimes after calling via connected smartphone.

The details about HW and SW version are in attached photo.

Thank in advance :-)

VIN removed for security reasons.

Hi, my 2014 Octavia vRS is struggling with bluetooth audio since I upgraded my phone from Pixel 8 pro to Pixel 10 pro xl. Bluetooth audio is stuttering. Is there a FW available to help;

You can try setting the Bluetooth AVRCP version to version 1.3 in the developer menu of your Pixel smartphone.

@Spongefactory as I see your SW (FW) version, you have the exact SW version as probably could fit for my MIB1 - I need the version starting with MSTD_EU_SK…

Do you have MIB1 / Bolero in your Octavia? Do you have this version saved somewhere and could you send me it?

Thanks )

Hi, I've enabled developer options and tried pretty much every combo of AVRCP / MAP / Disable Bluetooth A2DP offload, etc and no difference unfortunately.

Hi, this is the FW page (yes, my car needs a clean inside and out!);

Many thanks

All updated - many thanks. Unfortunately still glitching when playing bluetooth audio. I guess I'll have to go with a aux bluetooth adapter which I've tried and it works fine but no steering wheel controls and no track/artist info.

could someone send me the latest software upgrade

Hi there, and thanks for this really helpful forum and all the effort put into this!

I today tried to update my MIB1 from 0435 to 0490 which is the latest supported version according to MIB Helper, and I even managed to get hold of a file of MSTD_EU_SK_P6230-MU0490 which I think should be the correct one and also doesn't look corrupt etc.

But no matter what I try, my Skoda always keeps stating it cannot read the Release Info (metainfo2.txt) upon attempting to start the actual update.

It says it cannot read the \SDCard1\.\SKODA_NAV_SSB\metainfo2.txt

But the file is there on the SD card, it is also correctly formatted (FAT32), and the fact that it actually wants to read that file tells me that it actually has successfully read the metainfo2.txt in the root directory, which points to that file.

Any ideas? Maybe my downloaded file is corrupt anyway? Should I try another SD card?

Or maybe some of the friendly folks here could provide me with a download link to a known working copy of the P6329 (0490) firmware file?

That would be great. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am actually not quite unexperienced with doing stuff like this, and also successfully upgraded some MIB2, but that old MIB1 keeps bugging me... ;)

Thanks and looking forward to any helpful replies!

Best regards,

x86
