Thanks, yes that's exactly the file I used, it is bit by bit identical (same md5 hash) so it must be a problem with my unit, or my SD card.

Will try another SD card when I have some time.

Or, maybe any other ideas on why this might be incompatible? The SW Train is exactly the one like in most other screenshots here and MIB Helper also states that this version (P6320 MU0490) is the right one to use for that existing SW Train. It is really strange...

You can Upgrade, you need Dataset from mib1 and have To Upload this Dataset in the mib2

I ve download the file, extract and copy sd card but stil dosent work.

You have Canton?

Then it cannot be plug and play as you also need to change the Canton amplifier when you switch from MIB1 to MIB2. Oh and the coding needs to be corrected to match your vehicle, and the USB socket needs to be changed also.

Previously it's always been said that a MIB1 Canton amplifier cannot be used with MIB2, so it's good to know there is a way round - provided you have the tools to install the MIB1 Canton dataset.
