Need a bit of advice as to which one to go for...but definitely count me in. Need it fairly soon too - has there been much response from other forums to get close to the 10 needed?

Depends on what you want?

The organic one will be the nearest to the OM feel like you have in your car. The paddle one will be slightly heaver, but IMHO not enough to worry about.

This is a nifty bit of kit, if it was my car and it was tuned then I'd go for the paddle one.

But not everyone is the same ;)

For your info guys now on

My vRS has been superchipped would the free tweak inc this? and can a superchip be tweaked? My clutch has been slightly slipping for a few months now so i could be interested in this.

I might be interested in tweaking 'a' car soon - any idea how long this GB will be open for? (Exhaust needs to be bought first)

So does this new clutch totally eliminate the juddering that other people get with some remapped 1.9 TDIs?

I may well be interested if these are suitable for a seat ibiza cupra tdi 160. Its a 6 speed box

No, you would have to ask "superchip" to do any re-mapping

Any idea when this group buy might be going ahead? Has there been enough interest from other quarters?

I am in need of this ASAP so if its fits the ibiza cupra 160 tdi count me in

As far as I know the only difference on the 160 over the 130 is the bigger turbo/intake/ecu. The drivetrain should be the same.

I think thats correct so i am up for this, need it doing ASAP as its slipping pretty bad lately and dont want to bugger up the DMF

Looks like there isn't enough interest? :(

Well so far only 1 person has said yes.

C'mon you fabbie drivers you all moan about your slipping clutch here is the fix!

Well, it looks like I'll be having a chat with Jabbasport next weekend @ GTI International then!

I think there are three? JonTDI, myself and yellowcupra?

Wonder if we could get a discount for the three of us?

Definately count me in. After my car was remapped the clutch has been slipping when the turbo kicks in.

Had a chat with Brian & Nick @ GTI International. This GB will run untill we reach the required number, so there is no closing date. However, we do need more people to sign up. It's a cracking deal - he told me how the clutches are @ retail price & the discount for this GB is fantastic!

how much are they at full RRP?

It's a great price - I've already got an uprated clutch & pressure plate so won't be signing up but it would have saved me a fair bit ;)

So..so far we have...

1. JonTDI

2. Peanutz

3. yellowcupra

4. MikeB

The usual retail price is:

(1) £427.99 inc VAT plus fitting

(2) £557.19 inc VAT plus fitting

1. JonTDI

2. Peanutz

3. yellowcupra

4. MikeB

If we can get another 4 people I will take the 10th place to get this through for you guys.

If anyone with a Fabia vRS/Ibiza PD130/Polo PD130 or Octavia PD130 is interested then put your name down.

It makes alot of difference in the feel on the clutch and there is no more issues of a slipping clutch.

Have you posted this onto SeatCupra.net SeatEnthusiast Tdi Club and Polo UK ?If not, i can do so?
