Those aero inserts have to go. And I need to find another 10cm in the garage.

Loving my new Fabia, upgraded from a MK3.

Also just upgraded. Still getting used to mine. Though the Mk3 could be a pokey little riot, the Mk4 is a superior car in every way. So much more refined. Down sides:

  1. had to find extra room in the garage;
  2. had to buy a special bolt to fit my Mk3 spare kit into the receptacle (2G0 803 899 A); and
  3. too quiet -- I can't hear that 'Three Pots of Fury' engine note (for gear shift purposes, of course 😉).

(The throttle curve also seems a bit more non-linear with all the fun near the end of the travel, but that's just a right foot calibration issue.)

Registering on behalf of the Mrs, who's new colour edition (that she picked up in June) has just ticked over 500 miles 😱

As I'm about to receive my obd11 unit, are there any coding info out yet?

Hello, I am the unhappy owner of a fabia MKVI active. The car is great but no possibility to install android auto. A shame

I have Android Auto installed on my phone. It connects faultlessly either wired or wireless allowing use of Google Maps or Waze which I prefer.

Thanks Angus, but the problem is... in my car the smartlink system is not available and I don't know what the reason is

Just picked up my 23 plate Fabia SE Comfort DSG auto in Graphite Grey. (8 miles on the clock)

Short drive home and a quick check around things and all seems well.

Looking forward to giving it a good test out.

Placed an order last week for 1.0 tsi manual,Monte Carlo in silver with black roof. Added the winter pack and rear disc brakes.

Currently in a 21 plate Leon FR estate lease car which goes back in March 24 and I'll pick up the Fabia.

Just collected our 24 reg Fabia Monte Carlo 1.5 DSG today.  Options include Winter Pack & ACC. It’s the MY23 spec although the actual build date was Jan 9th 2024. Replacing a 10 year old VW Polo Blue GT 1.4 DSG with only 46k miles on the clock. Brilliant engine & box and all round great car. VW no longer offering the 1.5 engine on a Polo so the Skoda was a no brainer.

Hello. I joined this club on Saturday when I took ownership of this Fabia, pictured.

Just sat here, having a coffee, with my fingers crossed that it's actually gonna complete an OTA update on the infotainment screen. 😆

New here so hi to all

Traded in a 2017 Colour Edition 1.2 TSI 5 speed manual for this 10 day old, preregistered Design Edition, 1.0TSI 110, DSG.

Lots of add ons by the dealer who was going to use it as a demo, only 47 miles on the clock.

So far, so good. Sound proofing of that 3 cylinder engine is amazing and it so smooth on the road with 16" alloys it's better than my Karoq with 19" wheels on bumpy roads

One question, is the 1.0 TSI reliable, the old car didn't miss a beat in almost 8 years of ownership with no faults at all.

Welcome!

I've had two Fabia's with the 1.0tsi engine and not one single issue to report off. I owned both for a total of 5years before moving to the 1.5tsi, so not really long enough to give you a conclusive report on them.

With any small capacity, high output engine. Servicing and maintenance is key

Enjoy the Fabia, I'm on my 4th and really love them.

Mrs H has recently taken ownership of a 1.0tsi. I think it is the 90BHP version.

She previously had a 2005 2.2dci X-trail and is loving the Fabia.

Only thing she regrets is she did not get one with a reverse camera.

  • 2 months later...

A bit late to the party here, we've had our black on black on black (so much black!!!) Fabia Monte Carlo 1.0 TSi 116 nearly a year now.

It's my partner's car, we traded up from a Mk III 95PS and have been very impressed with the step up in quality feel of the new car.

I would like to do some bits in either matt ally or Velvet Red on the outside to break up the black. Black Magic is my Skoda colour but I don't like everything to be that colour...
