yes that is correct ;)

i was at first realy angry but then i have all right to get i did order and start paying for it  so i will get it ;)

They must do this on purpose and hope customer doesn't notice. I don't understand how this can happen. So they "plan" production of cars based on equipment/components the order needs. You wait a very, very long time, because they don't have all of the components. Then they start making your car and noone checks what equipment should be in it? Then after it is built noone checks if car is built to specification and everything ordered is in the car? Now you will have to wait again and drive back to the dealer for a retrofit, assuming they will at least offer you one. Probably they will just try to refund you for side assist. Wow! 😮

yes first will they try to refound, just i won't let  then refound me~ i want Side assist ! ;)

Just got a phone call from my local dealer. The car has left the port of Emden and should be here in 7 to 10 days. I ordered in mid Jan so that's 8 months from order to delivery, assuming nothing bad happens. It's a 2.0TSi DSG vRS.

I am with you man! Don't let them **** you over. Report back how you resolved the issue.

as i saw on the internet is connected to rear parking sensor on each far side

Not sure how it's designed at Skoda, but on my Megane GT the blind spot sensors were two extra (one on each side on the rear bumper); so 6 sensors in total: 4 for rear parking assistance and 2 more for blind spot. Those 2 are looking more to the side compared to the other 4.

But I agree with you; if you want to have it, accept nothing less!

Nice to see and read good news, keep it up 👍.

Since this morning MyŠkoda app allows me to continue with registering the vehicle (before the service was unavailable after entering VIN), I hope this means some movement of the car in my direction 😉

@OctaviaRS93 congrats :)

@Ajdolin, my car was finished and awaiting transport when the app accepted the VIN for registration.

Aha, so I guess still waiting for transport as it is since 2 weeks ago…

Just had an update from my dealer (through the lease company) that my car is not expected to Q1 2023 (vague information as always from Skoda). Ordered Sept 2021, PHEV SE L. Guess I better MOT and service my old car and hope it holds out for another winter! beyond a joke now and its especially grinding given non PHEVs seem to be on 6 month lead now, would cancel and order something else if the prices hadn't gone through the roof in the last 12 months, irks me to give skoda any money. Sorry for the moan/rant

No need to apologize, we all come here to rant about Škoda 😉

What do you mean by this? :) I have been waiting 14 months already for a TDI. Some even more.

Yeah, I know some have been waiting just as long but seems to be increasing number of posts with people getting build dates and cars despite only ordering in Jan/Feb. If I were you lot I would be even more livid, at least they can use the PHEV excuse with me, don't know what crappy excuse they have got for people who are waiting over 12 months for a petrol/diesel versions

Excuses are standard: covid, chips, fire, war, chips, covid, war,... We are livid and there is nothing we can do. One thing is clear by now. If they have parts, they make more expensive cars with higher margins first and they make more money in countries like GB, Germany, Finland, Switzerland... There are some exceptions here also, but not so many. They don't care about some lowly Slavs from Slovenia. They also don't care about their own people in Czech, because I read on their forums about even worse waiting times. :)

P.S.

And situation is about to get worse, because now there will be a new problem, GAS! That is why I am even more nervous now, when car is planned for week 43. If it isn't made on this week, maybe there will be another long wait or maybe it won't be made at all.

Yep, it was the same situation in my case. I was checking MySkoda daily; the morning the app accepted my VIN, the dealer wrote to me a few hours later to let me know that the car is completed. 20 days later I'm still waiting for news; she didn't announce that the car has arrived at Romanian customs. I'm sure she would have told me...

So it seems they don't care about Romanians either... 🙄  Why would they?

I assume they don't care about you either. I don't think this is motivated by nationality, it is all about the money. :)

I spoke to a dealer weekend and other models in the range can be ordered and delivered in 12 weeks, Octavias 52. Not good.

Nice to see 130 on the spreadsheet and at least we are seeing increasing numbers of cars delivered each month.

as far i hope and think they just need to connect pc on and turn it on and change side mirrors, because as i saw on the internet is connected to rear parking sensor on each far side.

Rear blind spot sensors are not rear parking sensors. Blind spot sensors are two separate longer range sensors.

So my car is in the country, arrived to Logatec and should be available at the dealers in the beginning of next week. I will take the time and inspect it well before I give them my money.

Hell, gas is also my concern, i think it could be next big excuse. However, i've been waiting for 13 months, and now build date is 9 week of 2023, i'm curiuos will be there more delays.

Is this confirmed one or provisional?

Not confirmed, last time it was 5 week of 2023, and now the week 9. So i think the date might and probably will change. Friend of mine is waiting about 20 months at the moment, so further delays wouldn't be big surprise.

Ok, I was suspecting that. It looks like they don't wanna give any firm dates for eTec cars.

By the way - whoever deleted "Transmission" column from the sheet - please don't do this.

The edit happened on September 14th and it screwed the table really bad. Now we can either revert to the version on Sept 13th and loose all changes since then or live with the fact that data is a mess now 😞

There's a lot of valuable information for analysis and it's simply not cool to delete data just like that.
