It's now a good time install the Skoda app on your phone and try to add your car - if you haven't done so already. If it's indeed completed, it will be shown by the App and you'll be even more excited.

My car is made and being delivered but MySkoda app doesnt work. When I continue it says error 400.

 

Skoda connect is a RPITA to setup, it has taken me at least 8 attempts to get to partially work, I've got to contact the dealer again with my driving licence details to enable unlocking by mobile phone. 

 

Don't know whether it's worth the hassle tbqh.

PIcked up my car yesterday took all of 5 mins to set up Skoda connect, swapped out my Superb in the garage, entered new vehicle VIN and it populated straight away, all 👍 Dealer did say that they were aware of some issues but I must just be lucky, now there's a first 😁

Car ordered at 24 of july 2022. Today its been delivered to dealer. Next week on monday i will take hold of it so i am very happy 😀

@BRSEngineer I follow your delivery news with close interest as see from the excel order listing that your order mirrors closely my order.  Your latest unconfirmed build week 13 is late March/early April is it not?  Maybe there is hope yet for my order!!!

Update from my lease company, the car which allegedly was going to be at the dealer 27/02/23 has not been built and they’ve moved the date out to….there is no date, but after September some time. 
 

Car was ordered in September 2021 so it’ll be over two years by the time i get it. I have tried to keep in mind that it is only a car, and there are far worse things happening to people in the world right now so it’s not worth getting too emotional about but this is a bit of a **** take. Order will be cancelled shortly I think, not that Skoda will care of course. 

I took delivery this week, looks nice in the sun 🌞 Loving the car 👌

It’s via Lex I believe (I’m vague as I have to communicate via my works vehicle finance team who then go via Lex who deal with the dealer….needlessly complicated of course).

 

I think it really is just pot luck as to when cars arrive, doesn’t seem to be any particular system in place. I am going to contact Skoda UK directly, I know it won’t help but I feel it’ll do me good to vent my frustration at them directly😄

I suspect the increase in stock at dealers is down to cancelled orders. Sorry to hear things are getting worse for you.

I'm afraid i can be in same situation, because my build week was 8th week, and there no information. I couldn't find you in spreadsheet, what is your engine?

Apologies, I haven’t updated the spreadsheet. I ordered a VRS estate iV, no extras, in September 2021. 

I have taken the delay on my order up with Skoda UK.

 

Apparently my car is at 'Status-V' which mean allocated but not sent to the factory???

Ours order for Leicester skoda in 09 2021 (1.4 phev Estate sel). Order à knowledge by the factory 30/11/22 more than 1 y after the initial order and still no new on build or vin whatsoever. I keep the order but can't wait much longer. This is disgusting and no matter how good the car might be I'll probably never order from skoda. The dealership is already a joke but skoda as a whole is beyond ridiculous. This is really bad customer care and experience damaging the brand no matter what are the circumstances. Other brand do better I think.

Delivery date getting worse. Have received an unconfirmed code 10 build week of 38 then 37, then 14, then 13 it’s now 15. Skoda planners not top of class. 
 

i am not surprised but was getting hopeful. 
 

hope others are doing better. SEL PHEV ordered feb 22 original delivery estimate Aug 22. 

Today I got info that my Octavia Estate (2.0 TDI ambition) was finished, next week should be at dealers shop.

I managed to luck out and get the spec I wanted on an already built car which is probably someone’s cancelled order. Ordered on the 20/02 and current status is that it is at the port in Germany since 22/02. It hasn’t left yet and the dealer keeps saying it would usually have left by now. 
 

How long are people waiting for the cars once they are at the German port?

 

It’s an Octavia Estate 1.5litre petrol SEL DSG, metallic paint graphite grey

My Superb was manufactured on 7th December 2022 and delivered to the dealer on 23rd January 2023 :). Was stuck in Germany till 7th Jan 2023 if I remeber correctly.

You can track vehicle carrying ships from Emden, Germany, both Silver Ace and Violet Ray are currently there, City of Rotterdam and Patara due tomorrow.   Need to find a ship going to Sheerness, Grimsby, or Tyne

 

If your dealer says when it is on a ship, use vessel finder (or any ship tracker) for the ship
