If by "Fox" you mean the Remus system seen here for the Cupra:

As I understand it, the Remus centre resonator included is 70mm at the back to connect to the resonator-back part which is increased to 70mm from the OEM, but at the front of the resonator where it connects to the OEM downpipe it should be 60mm so there shouldn't be any problems.

In any case, if this system is meant to be compatible with the OEM downpipe then it should feature a matching diameter in front of the resonator.

I meant the Fox system that i wasn't sure about correct fitment.

You are absolutely right about the different length of centre silencer pipe going to joint of y-pipe.

Another difference whether relevant or not but i might be wrong is that on Friedrich system

The valve sits right after centre resonator where as on Fox system this seems to have valves on tail pipes same as superb's OEM set up.

Spoke to Fox sales team and they confirmed that from few systems they sold nobody complained about vibrations or droning issues but i won't know until i try 😑

I wouldn't be buying this system. There's no guarantee that the centre res sits in the right place.

Which one do you mean mate? Fox? Or Friedrich? Or?....getting lost 😂

Just to add to this...just spoke to guy from Friedrich i was asking him why the same system sounds so different from Superb to Arteon and he said because Superb has downpipe fitted and VW doesn't but both of their videos say that there is DP installed, when i questioned it he said he doesn't know so i politely asked him if he could try to find out from someone but certainly doesn't make good impression that they don't really know about product they selling...

Old topic, but let's contribute.

Today installed Milltek SSXVW349 on Skoda Superb 280. Perfect fit as I have expected.

I have to measure if there is change in performance, feels like mid-range is better, but I have to confirm it.

Audible change is almost not distinct. On idle, city driving, I can not hear the difference. On full throttle it is also not obvious, at least not from the inside. For sure there is some change, but not that is night and day.

Car is already Stage 1, so noise was harder than stock due to higher turbo boost. Supposedly rear O2 sensor is already disabled in the map, so I should not have any codes related to downpipe installation. And 200cell cat helps too.

So, to confirm that downpipe from Golf 7R is suitable for 280 for sure.
