Hi guys,

does anyone know, what is the difference between Xenon version 5E1941015B/5E1941016B and 5E1941017B/5E1941018B?

 

Right now I have in car 15B/16B and I was thinking, what is the difference in the newer version. In ETKA I can see, that the new ones are "just replacement" and I know, that sometimes the replacements are only "reduced cost".

Does anyone know? i have option to buy 15B/16B, but not sure, maybe the 17B/18B are better.

I know on the MK7 Golf there is:-

 

Bi-xenon without LED DRLs, & without AFS

 

Bi-xenon with LED DRLs, & with AFS

 

Bi-xenon with LED DRLs, & with DLA

I suspect the 17/18B are the ones with a black inside, not chrome.

Hi again. I've just taken a look at my headlights from above. (2013)  Octavia III. See pics.

Mine are black inside. 

5E2 941 015B (Left)

5E2 941 016B (Right).

The 17B/18B are obviously the newer units, but I really cannot see any differences, so perhaps they changed over in Model Year 15 or 16?

It would be interesting to see which headlight units are fitted to those cars...

Hello. Same problem at my car. I have to buy a second hand xenon and i found one with the code 5E1941016B and i dont know if it fits. My code is 5E1941018B.If anyone can help me pls. All the best.
