I have been looking at buying a Monte Carlo and every one apart from one has the red seats and interior bits but I have seen one with just grey sports seats. Was this an option when it was new or have the seats been replaced with something different it’s a 68 plate thanks.

There are a few different colours

None of those are the colour of the seats in the  picture I posted earlier 

Have a search for the Fabia brochure from the year of the car you're looking at.

It only came with the red interior, as you can see on page 27.

I have jus signed a deal on a 68 number plate Monte Carlo with the red interior. I prefer the black interior if I am honest but my CitiGo Monte Carlo had the red seats as well and I managed to live with it

The Grey interior was a factory option you could pick, and not many people thought it could be optioned. i changed it when i got my 20 plate MC and i think it looks a lot better than the red standard interior. i beleive the red interior is the only option for it now. good look finding one with it.

Finding the red interior complete without an airbag deployment is rare in itself. This black interior is rare even factory fitted let alone striped out at a breakers yard. 

Just received our new Monte Carlo today and I have to say that there is a lot less red on the seats than I expected. They've obviously toned it down a bit.

 

It really is just the edges of the seats that are red now. The flats of the bolsters are now a carbon fibre look vinyl (I think) in dark grey. I think it looks quite good personally but I'm sure a lot of people won't like it much.

If you ever crash it, let me know, i'll swap seats with yours, been wanting these for a while now but haven't seen any pop up anywhere;

 

They look similar to the seats standard in the redline, which I’ve always wished my CE had. 

I’ve just bought a16 reg Monte Carlo estate from Arnold. I like the red interior trim apart from the red surround to the gear lever / centre consul. Does anyone know how I could find the part number to try and get a black replacement? My son suggested getting it wrapped in carbon to match the dash but not sure if an exact match could be achieved.

* is the revision letter:

No letter - 1st Revision

B - 2nd revision

C - 3rd revision

All will fit and are identical in terms of apearance etc, 1st revision has no sound deadening, 3rd revision does, i can't speak for the 2nd revision.

 

xxx is the colour code:

9B9: Satin Black

FSW: Cherry Red

HUS: Wild Grey

LIG: Stone Beige

 

I'm soon to be swapping out my satin black one with a new red one, wish i'd known you wanted a black one as i'd have done swaps 😂

 

There are a few available on eBay but obviously 2nd hand, they cost about £70 ish brand new from Skoda. If you'd be willing to wait, you could have my old black one for free (provided you cover postage or collect it yourself) once i get to a point where i'm able to fit my new red one (i'm waiting on  parts that are still on back order, so i don't have any kind of timeframe for that).

Wow, that’s very good of you. I’m NW of Glasgow so too far for collection. I won’t be collecting my fabia for a couple of weeks and in no hurry to swap out the part so I’d be delighted to pay postage for yours. I’ll try and pm you with my phone number.

Out of interest what is the part called? I’ve tried searching on eBay various permutations of centre console, trim etc with no joy, I even tried the part no. You gave

I found it on eBay now, (central tunnel) I had no idea it was the complete  centre console. I was convinced the red piece was just a trim that clipped on to the console and was separate from the black section and that’s what I was searching for.
