Holyrood election 6th May 2021 will be interesting to say the least. Likely a fiasco.

My chuckle of today and yesterday is those that got a 'Postal Vote' and then are clueless on how to fold the 'Peach' coloured voting paper or to put the voting papers in an envelope so had to call into radio stations to ask can they take their postal vote papers to a 'Polling Station' and get to vote there.

Some time in the future there might be a simple puzzle that people need to pass to be allowed to do something as important as to vote.

Guide dogs for the stupid should be at Polling Stations to assist those not quite the full shilling.

Hopefully she will keep her wit to herself this time and if the counts do not start until tomorrow there is no opening of postal votes before tomorrow.

No idea why they sent the likes of Clive Myrie to stand outside Holyrood on a pavement yesterday when there was an election due.

There is a big Royal Park just a short distance away so that Social Distancing could be observed and the traffic noise not broadcast.

That wouldn't be very exciting would it. No drama of the polling booth.

Strangely for me voting has always been a superbly boring thing to do

Scottish Parliament election 2021 The SNP has won 64 seats in the Scottish Parliament election - one short of a majority but one more than it won in 2016. Nicola Sturgeon hailed her party's fourth consecutive victory as a "historic and extraordinary" result. We look at the picture across Scotland and the shape of the new Scottish Parliament.

Douglas Ross MP /MSP reckons that even though Scotland is not important economically and is a drain on the rest of the UK he has saved the Union and is a winner with 31 seats for the Scottish Conservative and Unionist party and that the 72 MSP's elected from parties that stood on an Independence ticket were losers.

Obviously not Douglas Ross's voice or own words, they are even more ridiculous than these.

The UK has drawn up secret contingency plans to move its Trident nuclear submarine bases from Scotland to the US or France in the event of Scottish independence. Another option under consideration is for the UK to seek a long-term lease for the Royal Navy’s nuclear bases at their current location in Faslane and Coulport on the west coast of Scotland. This would create a British territory within the borders of a newly separate Scotland, said people briefed on the plans.

Good but.

There are many decades or centuries of cleaning up of nuclear waste in Scotland to be done, so the Bases might as well be where they are.

An Independent Scotland if there is ever is such a thing will join Nato & the UK of England, Wales & Northern Ireland's RAF will still need to use Air Bases in Scotland as will Nato planes.

The SNP might not be forming the Government of Scotland if there was an Independent Scotland and it is the SNP & Greens that are anti nuclear.

....................

Money on Baroness Davidson getting a cabinet position in Boris's reshuffle.

She will not be that busy with her new Non Executive Director position with Royal London & place on the board with Baxters Food Group so will still be able to assist Michael Gove in keeping the Union together.

This is who the Tories thought was the right person to lead the party in Scotland.

MSP & MP and Football Linesman and keeper of poultry.    Next Election or Referendum i think there might be people dressed as chickens following him.

Baxters might feature him or his brood in a Cockaleekie advert.
