I dont know the exact term for the cover on the engine that signifys the engine type eg. 1.4 ,1.8 etc etc and that has the oil tank cap.

Can this be replaced by say a cover which maybe chrome or have a different design on it. I have seen a Golf IV with a Red Bull engine cover and wonder if this can be done.

Any one seen anything available.

If Techie were to mention that AmD do engine bay accessories, and post details of such accessories in AmD's Forum, then members could refer to that forum should they so wish. I believe that would be appropriate advertising for AmD as a Connect client without being overly intrusive.

Best engine cover I saw was on our stand at BVF, circular mesh stainless steel on a Polo, bloke did it all himself ~ it looked really excellent and really set the car off.
