SKODA Superb III Hatchback (3V3) 2017 AMBIENT LIGHT TRIM problem

Featured Replies

Hello,

Passenger side rear door ambient light trim stopped working on my Skoda Superb (2017), trim level - Style. There are few questions and I would be very pleased if someone could comment on them:

1) Maybe someone else encountered this problem? What was the solution?

2) Can I purchase only ambient light trim or will I need to buy the whole rear door trim?

3) What is OEM part number of ambient light trim / whole rear door trim?

Cant answer all the questions, but i wanted to try the ambilight retrofit, and i was told you cant just change the trim which has ambilight strips, i was told you need the whole door trim, and for me that would be all 4 doors, and the dash as well.. so i just forgot about it!

@Dronzillla
1) You should check the logs with VCDS and see what's the problem or remove the door panel to check the wiring.

2) Yes, you can buy them individually.
3) Here are all the ambient light strips for all doors (these are for the brushed aluminum ones):

- 3V0 867 061 D RJ9 - Front Left

- 3V0 867 062 D RJ9 - Front Right

- 3V0 867 067 D RJ9 - Rear Left

- 3V0 867 068 D RJ9 - Rear Right

As far as I know the "RJ9" part from the OEM code represents the color. You should check with ETKA what is yours, maybe you have the piano black version and so on.
