Retrofit Heated Washer Nozzles

Featured Replies

My SE L Executive did not come with heated washer nozzles, and having had experiences in winter with and without, I prefer to have my car fitted with them.

Does anyone know of a retrofit guide and the part(s) to install?

Thank you!

Thanks. What about the wiring? Is the loom already there?

I would assume its not there, and i am as well interested in the process to retrofit heated ones!

Anyone know?

I'll try and deal with this retrofit in the fall, from what I have seen on my superb the wiring is not there!

It's a £95 option from new which suggests there's not a lot of work needed to install (its £190 to enable TSR in the coding).

My assumption is you'll either need the nozzles only, or the nozzles and bonnet loom to plug in somewhere near the scuttle.

If someone has them and could photograph where the wires go, it'll help us all

Surprised to learn you need to code them in!

I'll just mix the screenwash slightly stronger in winter I think

You'd need to mix it stronger anyway, even with the heated washers. I have them on mine and they're sh............ not awesome!!

I'll just hope for the best!

The next thing I'll discover is that you need to code in the backrest release from the boot too :D

They're not worth the effort of retrofitting in my opinion.

In the winter if its cold enough outside to need the heated washer jets then you can be pretty sure the screenwash in the tank is frozen solid (happened to me a couple of times) so they do not get any water to them anyway!

Can the backrest release be added?
