Anyone else ordered a new Kodiaq?

  • Well, after a 7 month wait, I picked up my Sportline facelift today. All options present, including Canton, and the electric child locks with the family pack.

Was ment to be a demo but dealer ordered two and gave me a choice. I wasn't fussy about extras so suited me.

I give up can't seem to post pic

Anyhow two weeks from order to driving. If you don't want extra your garage might get you sooner. Fare play bradys cavan. No better service. Thanks barry

I can't help but to feel despair that peeps are facing waits like this and at the same time Skoda are announcing the opening of order books on new models with first deliveries indicated as July (or was that June; even worse).  It's clearly indefensible.

Aww you're beating my 10 months and a day!

So i tought maybe there is some more news but he said still no news. I mentioned there were cars getting delivered after my order date and said he cannot comment on that how the factory takes orders. So i just need to be patient. Looks like a long ride for me.

Looks like they're taking us for a ride to me...

Totally agree with you - but the new models are electric cars, and they have to sell those to get the average emissions figures down. There are a whole load of factors at play, but Skoda are shooting themselves in both feet when it comes to communicating (or, more precisely, not) with their customers. It's actually starting to look like a massive Ponzi scheme, where they take in more and more orders and money, but deliver less and less cars.

Out of interest... a question for everyone who is currently waiting for a Kodiaq - if you could swap your order to an Enyaq and have it delivered in the next couple of months (guaranteed), would you?

(Edit: sorry, I know there are new Fabia + Karoqs as well, but I was concentrating on completely new models)

Only if it looked like a Kodiaq and had 7 seats 🤣

Definitely not, the Carwow range test highlighted the reduction in range under various conditions/loads etc and it’s pretty grim! Apart from that I prefer the Kodiaq’s’ design overall.

I would like to say yes but unfortunately it’s a huge no. Like all other Skoda’s it is neither good or bad. The Range is poor and electric cars need at least another 3 years for development and the charging infrastructure.

Do I need to place an order now for my next new car before my new car comes???????

Yes, but you run the risk that your next new car will turn up first 🤦‍♂️.

Hello! By this way, should I try to get a new Kodiaq??? Here in Portugal there's no cars for delivery....and I wonder if I should be prepared for a long time wait???

We love the Kodiaq, and it will be (if they could get one) our first Skoda...

Regards!!!

Hope to have some news soon... :)

The longest wait for a Kodiaq I've seen so far has been 12 months.  But you may be lucky and get it in under 6 months.

We've got over 11 months mentioned on here with no build week yet, so over 12 is on its way.

I'm over 10 months with no build, so I'm going for the record too.

Thanks for the reply!!! If here they take that long, i`m affraid i will quit...but we`re in loved by the Kodiaq... I think i will put the decision to my wife... :)

Regards!

VRS yes please. O and has to be same price as the skoda so sub 30k :)

Have today got a provisional build week 14 for my 8th Oct VRS order; almost feels like Christmas! Out of interest, have any of you received a confirmed build week that preceded the provisional week? I only remember seeing dates being put back but fingers crossed 😬

Checking delivery every week and every week for the last 4 weeks it has gone back 1 more week! Now BW14. WTF Skoda you absolute !@&x!^*#@‘s

I hate Skoda. Their communication with customers is appalling. I deeply regret purchasing a Kodiaq, I was spoilt for choice last July and now they leave me with no choice but to wait. I will never buy another
