HEE HEE! I'm new to this forum, but just had to gloat! My Black Magic Fab vRS arrived last Wednesday, got picked up on Friday, played with cruise control a bit, and been driven LOTS ever since!

Unfortunately, I had to come to work today...

IIRC ( ) the Fabia was made a vRS as Skoda had a load of spare Octavia vRS badges, due to the people who made the badges mistaking 20,000 for 200,000

I did wonder why they fitted an Octy vRS badge on to the back of the Furby!

& even worse news if it gets bumped like mine did, 4/5 weeks for the bits to come, all because some **** nicked it!!

If anyone's interested, Derek Slack in Middlesbrough have a red Fabia vRS in the showroom...I don't think it's been spoken for. Speak to Phil Jackson - top bloke!

Just in case anyones interested Brooklyn Alcester have a Furby RS in the showroom . Black Magic with XENONS and CD which I understand is what you want Speak to IAN

PS just remembered they also have a white RS octavia Rally which is now all white no - decals and its a genuine one I saw it before it was de decaled

Just a sort of up-date on this issue....

I went into a skoda dealers today (re: touch-up paint, ta Rooboy) and met a certain salesman that is well known to at least Tavia4x4 and myself.

Was talking to him about the vRS Furby, and he rightly recollected selling me my car, it's engine, spec and purchase date and then remarked - "thinking of changing are we?"

Well I am. However....

The dealer won't be getting any vRS Fabia's till end of February. VAG have only allocated 1100 to the UK, which with 180 dealerships (roughly) is 6, and probably thanks to various Franchise being pulled/not renewed, this dealer is getting 17........

I'd be first in the queue, but finances can't strech to the 11K asking price, even after taking the Octy as a trade. So you'll understand if I don't let you all know which dealer it is..... :insane: I want one to be left for me later. :insane:

just spoke to my local dealer this morning and he said the earliest one would be available is end of march 2004 D'oh

Delays? What delays? My is coming in the morning after ordering in October.

But still well worth the wait I hope.
