More Furby vRS Factory delays.

Featured Replies

Phoned the dealer today, car's due to be built next week... so what's new?

Well the build date is still unconfirmed. He says because they shut down over Christmas for 4 weeks, this probably means that it will be WEEK *6* before it's built and *MARCH* before I see it.

WTF is going on at Skoda??

He's got a silver one coming in though and he's offered me that. I do like the black but it's a long wait.

Oh torture.

VAG allocated xx number of PD130's for the Fabia RS, in simple terms they have been selling better than expected and have run out of engines!

They are trying to cease production of the superb or octavia 130PD to fulfill Fabia RS orders, but no decision has yet been made.

(heard this from a dealer)

Conclusive proof that the Fabia vRS is better than the Octavia :D

Better for/at what? Eh??

Here we go again....

Think the Fabia RS is factory finished unlike the octy RS, 4x4 and L&K that are hand finished?

(runs for cover) :D

Hehehee.. im just messing around :)

:smile-l: :robot:

I didn't start it, and nice point, Ian!! Bet the VRS lot didn't know that our cars are made in the Vrchlabi factory. :D

Popular <> Good

=> Fabia <> Better :p

Rob.

The Ford Popular was never good, so of course the Fabia is going to be better, but what on earth has that got to do with the Octavia? And why is the Fabia vRS called that? The Octavia vRS is of course the Octavia VRCHLABIRS - but what does the v stand for in Fabia vRS? Perhaps one of our Fabia vRS owners could enlighten us all?

no doubt the same thing it stands for in the Octy version. :p

Youll love the car :) it still amazes me how much in-gear thrust it has 4000 miles on! just take care in the cold weather and greasy roads.. wheelspin in 3rd is just a prod of the right foot away :D

What? That the Fabia vRS is built in Vrchlabi? I think not. grumpy.gif

Seems strange, as I was originally quoted January delivery.

Mine is in Grimsby now waiting to come to my dealer. :)

I thought the green V was the sqiggle on top of the S in skoda and the motorsport emblem, correct me if i'm wrong but the original octavia vRS' were called RS and the v put in front when ford started to cry about it? and as the v symbol was already there it made sense to add it on, et voila

No longer available

Re the emblem It is the motorsport emblem ' date=' someones winding you up! the "v" stands for "victory" and although the Octavia 4x4, L&K, RS bodies may arive at vraclabi in poly-wraped for assembly.

It makes sense either way, but given the way on how skoda have changed the stance on the logo (from an american indian head to some pc new wave ****** it would not suprise me either way)

No longer available

I thought the 'V' was representative of the female genitailia.

When we get behind the wheel we all turn into c***s!!!!

(Probably get shot for this - never mind means not having to work)

Don't wish to make you jelous, but I picked up my bright yellow Furby Vrs yesterday from my local dealer in Alcester.

The car was origenally ordered on the 13th of September. My dealer stated that currently for orders placed from now they are looking at May 04 delivery!
