What have you missed? Well, there's no mention of setting up the geometry after replacing the arms.

After you change an adjustable component in the suspension, you need to check the suspension geometry. This is a specialist job to get right. Look for a garage or fast fit place near you that has a Hunter rig.

It is a solid unit thats wy I thought it would be ok for a straight swop cheers

Are the two "special bolts , nuts and washers " you replaced the adjustable ones. If so then thats your problem as KenONeill says.

There will be differences between the old/new suspension arms and the new bushings will also cause them to move.

It's very unlikely you've managed to get the inner adjustment bolts in the same place either, all of which will cause the alignment to change. Assuming it was even correct to begin with... :D

Plenty of garages will do a free alignment check so I agree with the above and would start there. If anything is obviously wrong, badly fitted or broken, they should be able to tell you.

  • 2 weeks later...

The two inboard bolts are eccentric and will need alignment
