Electric tailgate

Featured Replies

Not me, electric tailgate is in the same category as Kessy - quite unnecessary.

My car has it and is great particularly with the optional foot operation once I got the hang of where to kick to make it go.

particularly useful for my wife who struggled to pull down and close previous Yeti tailgate

I think fitting it is beyond most though as diy and this is just the button opearstion version?

I think it's something that grows on you.

This the first car I've had with one, and it can take an age to open when you're waiting to juts pop something in the boot... but it can be very handy to open from it from the driver's seat when it's raining and you wife has a trolley-load of shopping ;)

I have it on my BMW, and I hate it. It came as part of an options package, and there’s no way to deactivate it. On multiple occasions, the boot has started to close and bashed my head while I was rummaging around doing things in the boot.
