Mine has started rebooting too.

Roughly every 20/25 mins. Got the high pitched buzz too as radio was on. Will try the manual reboot tomorrow.

Phoned my dealer service department and they claim never to have been made aware of this issue. Anyway booked in on 29th September. They said there may be software update so can I leave the car for the day !

Will just have to wait and see.

Kamiq 1.5 SEL. just over a year old now.

What version of software has it got

I see you've had your car for a year but your navigation database is up to date. Did the data base update automatically ??

Yes it must have done.

Wonder if it could be an Android Auto issue on my phone?

Travelled to town centre and back today and on both journeys, infotainment failed to get past ‘loading user settings’☹️Tried reboot but made no difference. So frustrating!

I haven't tried this in my Kamiq, but in my previous Kodiaq with a Columbus system it was possible to reboot it by keeping your finger on the on/off icon until it bleeps.

I had a similar problem to yours when I first had the Kodiaq. The dealer said they checked for loose connections (none found) and rebooted the system.  I didn't have a recurrence after that.

During the lockdown I caused a warning light to come on which I couldn't extinguish. It was suggested that rebooting the infotainment more than once in succession might work,  so I tried it and after three reboots the light went out.

Someone on the forum scoffed at this and virtually called me a liar,  but it really did work, as did turning the ignition on and off on a previous car 3 times to extinguish a warning light.

Not saying  this will work for you, it doesn't cure all ills, but it's an easy thing to do, so worth trying before you go to your dealer.

So, having tried LITERALLY everything to fix this issue in our Scala - culminating with being charged £300 by our garage to upgrade the software to the 'very latest version' ("well we have to do it manually you know") I tried this as a last resort, with zero expectation that it would do anything. And you know what? It worked. No issues for the remainder of the (3hr) journey. Hallelujah. Thank you.
