Aftermarket 'Zausts on vRS!

Featured Replies

Iv'e seen (and heard  ) Shifty's Blueflame and have been looking at other cat-back options for the vRS. Have checked the following so far with varying degrees of success:-

Janspeed - will do a custom catback but didn't instill much confidence!

Miltek - replied with "dont do one and have no immediate plans to make one"!.

Blueflame- sent an e-mail (twice!) over four weeks ago, still no reply!.

Hayward & Scott - Only sent enquiry today so still waiting for reply but are Scooby/Mitsubishi specialists.

Just wondered if there were any other specialist exhaust manufacturers, preferably on the south coast, that could make and fit a custom catback for an OctyII vRS?.

Jetex - probably quietest of all ...probabl due to the big mother rear box....but excellent fit and finish.....good price.....not sure if they've done anything for mk2 RS.

H&S - more than likely it'll be a custom build......good but expensive.

They did a decat system for the MK1 RS.....great sound and gains....flames out the back...expensive...circ

give miltek a month then ring them again ;)

hahahahaha, good luck getting an email from blueflame  I've never recieved a reply from them, and I dont think any members on here have either....

They make good exhausts, but not replying to potential customers via email is really, really pants imo :thumbdwn:

Good luck with your hunt, and you best bet is ringing Blueflame

Not that it bothers me now, but blueflame have never replied to me either!!

Send AmD an email ref the Milltek exhaust, if you word it well enough you may get a better response.

Would a turbo back not be a better option for the power your looking for?

What is the item number of the exhaust on Flea Bay ???

As far as I can make out J W Racing don't make any parts for Skoda, let alone the new Octy vRS!, but yeah you're possibly right but it's the cost  .

Just as another option, a small independant you could try in the Midlands is Custom Chrome (in Nuneaton), they specialise in custom one offs as well as easifit stuff. Though I would imagine they would need to have your car for a day as they are unlikely to have a jig for your car..

Stainless or mild steel and you can have as loud or quiet as you like.

Sent Nigel at Blueflame an e-mail this morning, and got a reply straight back.

I'm back at Blueflame tomorrow as it happens. I have a very small leak from my exhaust, but as it was the development one, I expected a teething trouble or two.

Other than that, the fit and finish are a work of art.

Miltek wanted

Question: Do Blueflame have different tailpipe options?. It's not that I don't like yours Shifty, but I would like to keep the 'standard' look.

So have you ordered it yet or what????

They can do you the standard look yes. May be an extra cost, I will find out tomorrow for you.
