I have an Octavia Combi 1.0 petrol mHEV. Production date June 2021.

I am in need of buying a set of winter tires for the coming winter in Sweden.

But I am finding it hard to get the correct size of the rim and tires. Maybe someone kind in this forum might help me. I tried reaching out to dealers and they are worthless.

 

From my internet search I think I need these specs:

205/55R17

7Jx17 ET46

– Center Bore: 57.1 mm 

– PCD: 5x112 

– Wheel Fasteners: Lug bolts 

– Thread Size: M14 x 1.5

Does this seem correct? Also do I need TPMS sensors on the wheels? How does Octavia sense the tire pressures (direct/indirect TPMS) ?

Size is correct and Octavia has indirect TPMS.

As for Wheel / Tyres Size for use with Snow Chains, the owners manual has that beside Tyres & Winter / All Weather Tyres , Snow Chains.

Hi, I needed tyres between my old octavia III and the new delivered in april 2021, so I got rims 6.5x16 and tyres size 205/60 not a perfect match to the old Octavia III but ok and works perfect on my new Octavia Mhev 1.0. on rough Swedish roads.
