Removal of Switch Blanks above cubbyhole

Featured Replies

Can anyone advise on the easiest way to remove the switch blanks above the cubbyhole in a late 2015 Yeti Monty Carlo. I have read elsewhere on this forum that you may have to remove the radio facia and trim but that may only be to get behind the switches.

I want to install a double usb socket like this  which will be wired to a 15 amp 12v to 5v dc convertor. The dropper will also supply a dash cam and an Amazon Echo Input and hopefully will tuck down behind the plastic trim in the drivers footwell beneath the fuse box.

I also want the supply to come on only with the ignition or auxiliary key positions. Is the fuse for the rear wiper still the best place to insert a fuse jumper or have members found a better circuit?

Many thanks

Fozzie

Does this help?  Or perhaps a spudger.
