Hi, i want to know, how can i set the brightness, of a rear number plate lights. I have stock halogen bulbs, NO LED.

 

 

I found this manual to dim number plate lights when opening boot:

 Light_Function_E_25 = 'Heckdeckel Offen' (Default 'Nicht Aktiv')

Dimming_Direction_EF_25 = minimise (Default 'maximise')

Dimming_EF_25 = 10% (Defualt '0%')

***you can choose any value from 0%-100%, this will define the brightness of the bulb once boot is opened***

 

But i want to set brightness when boot is closed. I mean to override stock brightness of the bulb.

I don't think this can be done; in most nations the brightness of (new) number plate lights is set by law.
