How to test the FCM J279/T6v pin connector. Pls

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

2004 Fabia 1.2 AZQ engine.

Problem: Both fans are not working, after regassing with refrigerant, and car is overheating.

Found: 40amp strip fuse was burned and replaced with a new one. Also replaced the brushes on the big fan (engine).

Done: Bought a new radiator thermo switch, as the old one looked bad.

Tested: F18 - 3pin connector with switch on 1-2 and 2-3 L and H speeds works and heard the click on small relay.  I went to the FCM big connector T4, all four get battery voltage. So fuses are fine.

Opened, cleaned and sanded connector on relays. Both looks fine, even tested wide open and they are fine, resistors not broken.

BIG? On the small T6v/6 pins where the K1 K2 Mot 1 and 2 ans 86a,b, I want to know how to find out the proper testing.

After rebuilding the engine from head gasket, timing chain and used it for 2 months, now this.

I had read all treads, very useful and checked.

Thanks in advance. This forum is awesome for DYI

Tell me if you can't read my writing, or it's not clear what you need to do to test this.
