Toybota V Dampervan V the yacht

Featured Replies

One of the best features they've done so far.

You could see what was going to happen but it was still so damn funny

Yup after last week's below average epsiode, this week's was back on track (or should that be water) :D:rofl:

Chris

Fantastic! The toybota capsizing 5 metres before the end

brilliant!

Typical Clarkson brain-in-the-b0ll0cks syndrome  but Captain Sensible didn't really win, either, since he couldn't get out of the water at the end.

It would have been much more stable if he could have left the throttle alone , but less amusing

yeah it was hilarious the car/boat feature , but i want to see more cars getting thrashed on road and track , was funny at the end though when the reliable toybota wouldn't start:rofl:

lorna did point out a good thing though ;)

didnt he say they weilded(sp) the doors closed?

 You could see the cameraman filming the toybota capsizing wondering whether he should drop it and go help out, but thought, "nah, f*** it, and kept filming.

I noticed that - and just after he was going on about the Cortina in Life on Mars not being right!

I thought the Herald looked really cool on water.

I thought the Herald looked really cool on water.

not as cool as the water , as that was sub zero

I haven't laughed that much at something on TV for quite some time

With Hammond clinging onto the wheel for dear life - WHY??!!

Steve

I agree - one of the best episodes. Very good. Best prog on tv - must be pretty close. Bring on next week...

Hamster had a nice idea, but how much weight .....two a a half tons......1.6 diesel engine from almost twenty years ago......clearly clueless.....

Clarksons idea was the most practical, but of course, the "MORE POWERRRRR!" mentality was his undoing. Still, I'd have one...

Clarkson would have been cool had he made the car a little more 'lifting' at the front so the water didnt go into the car/cabin.

Loved the way Hamster converted his car though, good styling effort at least :D

Havent laughed so much since the last top gear!

Just watching it again now.

The miami vice music when clarkson's driving(?) on the water with hammond. tears in my eyes!

Fantastic show, just quality entertainment of the sort only the BBC can provide. Long live he license fee!

Absolutely hilarious, haven't seen anything so funny in ages.

It rates right up there with my other fave challenges, those being the £1500 porsche, cheap coupe and £10,000 super cars.

There is a white van challenge coming up soon.

Actually cried, long time since i had a belly laugh like this

Absolutely brilliant feature!!! All we've been talking about in work today!!
