You could also tell us what it's doing, the 1.4 16V is so well known to some of us that simply telling us what the symptoms are may get you the answers you seek.

Sure, no problem. the main issue is that the EPC lamp is on. I have put a new evap valve on and it has made no difference. It has also had a full service ,again its made no difference. The other problem is my fault, I removed the dash to check the wiring ,without removing the battery. I dont know if anyone can help, I would appreciate any help

Check that your brake lights all work first.

Then if they're all OK, check the brake servo vacuum hose at the joints with the non-return valve. Look and feel for splits all around the hard plastic section where it stretches over the hose barbs.
