Dragon Green Club

Featured Replies

It's such a unique, nay possibly marmite colour, it's worthy of its own register. Here's mine, a 2018 sportline petrol 220ps with DSG. Bought used from dealer with 9.5k miles, so practically still in the wrapper.

It's metallic yellow, not a green?

call it "sky blue scarlet with purple polka dots", it will still be yellow. ;)

Except for those with more discerning colour rendition perhaps.

In real life it's more green than in photos.

Looks gold in the post above but it's definitely in the greens in the flesh. Just a shade more green than a tennis ball. A fantastic colour

Is that a yellow tennis ball or a white tennis ball? ;)

I would definitely call it a golden green

Or a greenish gold

Did they ever offer the sportline with non-black versions of the supernovas?

That matched with a dragon green kombi would be my ideal

Definitely looked greener in other photos but it's a good-looking car. Hope you enjoy!

It's a great colour. But it's a bit divisive. My daughter wasn't very happy when we got it...

Makes it easy to find the car in a carpark full of black/silver/grey cars though!

This is my Dragon Skin (as its called in Australia) MY19 206kW (280ps) Sportline Wagon.

Fully optioned with Supernova wheels (Black), sunroof and Virtual Cockpit.

Bit of an odd example as Dragon Skin was not officially available on the MY19 here.

I've only noticed one other Superb in the same colour in Melbourne in the last 2 and a half years, so I don't think it was ever a particularly popular colour.

There are a few in the UK. There was a short thread in the Facebook superb UK owners group which prompted me to start this thread up.

I have been surprised, most of my family and friends really like it, however, i think I'd have preferred something more anonymous!

These sorts of colours are not safe bets - most cars look fine in silver/black/graphite/midnight so you get customers who like those colours, and customers who aren't fussed. Something like this needs a customer who appreciates it. but I like colours like this (and the new green for the Octavia) - they brighten up the road a hell of a lot!

Likewise. I rather like "dragon yellow"!

Only good color on an otherwise quite ordinary (though in a good way) car. Never seen it on an estate with my own eyes, would love one.

They lack the 'Cloak of Invisibility'   so maybe not for those that like to get down the road a bit quicker than traffic around them.

Perfect for that person in the Safety Partnership camera van up on a flyover to zero in on.

"About as subtle as a kick in the *******s"

not my car, but was on a cruise with it recently.
nice shine in the sun.
