Hi folks

Been a fan of Skoda's for a long while, owned 2 Octavia's, 1 Superb, and I'm on my 3rd Fabia - just acquired another SDi. Although some 30 or so vehicles have passed through my hands over the years, you might think it a bit weird that I rate the SDi's as the best of them. Acquired my latest 2003 SDI Comfort Hatch with just 50,000 miles last weekend and I'm starting to tackle all the little jobs that need doing to get it ship-shape. I will start a thread on it to show the progress I'm making - as soon as I'm permitted to as a new member here.

I've had countless tips and advice from this Forum in the past and thought I had better join and express my gratitude! 🙂

I'm based close to Wrexham, but I'm from Anglesey originally, the Island of free love

I know that i have posted in 3-4 other topics the photos of my modified console (in various stages) but i think it's proper to have them all in one topic plus informations for the step by step procedure. Maybe another member will read it and try to modify his or someone can find via Google Search the photos and have an inspiration. We bought our Scala Monte Carlo Edition 1.5 tsi back in December and from late January it has had both mechanical problems and electronic gremlins. The mechanical problem have mostly been sorted, new rear discs and pads that were making noises like a wheel bearing was rumbling, the gearbox has had a software update and a reset (it's still not perfect). And the road noise is just the high dB tyres and lack of sound insulation. The electronic gremlins were put down to a failing 12v battery which

I wonder if someone can help me identify the correct OEM product number for a gearbox oil change I am planning. The car is 19 years old and just passed the 50k mile mark and I thought it would be prudent to change the oil when I service it this summer. The trouble I am having is getting any reliable information from online purveyors of oil. I would like to buy original VAG oil. Mine is a 5 speed manual gearbox.

Hi, I recently bought a '22 Kamiq and found that the rear speakers aren't working. When I go to the Sound > Position section of the infotainment screen, I have the cross on the screen and I am able to fade the speakers left to right, however there are no arrows on the vertical axis and you cannot fade the speakers front to back. I have tried a Hard and Factory reset but this does not fix the issue. I have briefly read that maybe this means a wire is bust or a speaker is broken which is cau
