Central lock problem after replacing driver's door lock

Featured Replies

Can somebody please help me with a central lock problem?

Car is 2009 Octavia 1.8 TFSI 118kW.

After driver's door lock was replaced, this anomaly happened:
  1. When I open the door by turning the key on the lock, the door will open, but will not disalarm the car and this happens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXu_yJDBQAE...
  2. When I open and close the doors from the interior button, you can actually hear that when opening, all the doors instead of driver's one open first and then the driver's one. There are like two consecutive sounds. Also the locking button will not light on when locking the doors. Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95qxkeuIFdY...

As of now, the mechanic doesn't actually know what could be wrong and he offers to take off the door panel and check all the wiring harnesses as the only solution.

Have somebody met a problem like that? Do you know any possible solution for that?

Thanks!
