Hi I have only found the rim size online for a 18inch vrs alloy, not the PCD etc

I'm wondering if a 2011 shares the same wheel well with other VAG cars? 

 

My main dislike is space savers and 50mph-any advice on a alloy or steel rim, factory jack correct wheel polystyrene wheel liner and clamp. 

 

Also is ebay the way forward or somewhere cheaper?

If you have a standard VAG wheel, the full side specification will be cast or stamped into the wheel.

As you can see in the chart below, the Octavia MK2 came with either 6Jx15 ET47 or 6.5Jx16 ET50 steel rims.

 

The 6Jx15 ET47 uses 195/65R15 tyres, and the 6.5Jx16 ET50 uses 205/55R16 tyres.

That's not a comprehensive list, is it? My Mk2 Octy has 17" Pallas alloys.

17" alloys aren't steel, and the OP is looking for a full-size spare wheel.

Same outside diameter

195/65R15

205/55R16

225/45R17

225/40R18

 

The above tyre sizes are interchangeable as they all have almost the same outside diameter.

Exactly my point, It's not a comprehensive list. What you meant, but did not write, was "the Octavia Mk2 if fitted with steel wheels came with either 6Jx15 ET47 or 6.5Jx16 ET50 rims.
