Sleeping in my car, alarm?

Featured Replies

How do I stop the alarm from going off if I wish to sleep in my car (car camp)? I presume the internal motion sensors would activate the alarm and leaving the ignition on would flatten the battery but is there a way to temporarily disable the sensors?

Button at bottom of B post.

Funnily enough my alarm has not gone off at all in the many recent times that I have slept in the car, I need to check its operation.

On the drivers door you should see a small square button type shape just to the rear below the main door pull handle, if I remember you press this button just before setting the alarm/locking the door, once door is shut this disables the interior sensor, was fitted so you could leave dog or kids in the car but still have doors protected by the alarm
