Big brake kit options on the 272 Superb?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm looking for a big brake kit for my Superb. I'd like one for the front and rear.

I was looking at racingline but I believe it is front only and not so sure about the quality?
I was also looking at AP Racing but I don't think they have a rear either?

Any other options?

Has anyone else fitted a BB kit?

No, not required tbh.  I would just upgrade the rear brake pads.

£3,500?!?!?! Holy feck!!!

🤣 Clearly I never paid no where that!

I even paid less than the Racing Line 4 pots!

They appear used but in really good nick quite often. Or reasonably often for what they are.
people must map the car, fit the brakes then get bored not long after and sell everything to change the motor.
£1000 is about average for a used set.

I upgraded mine with AP Racing rotors on both front and rear (new AP Racing calipers on the front and stock caliper on rear ones).

I bought them here:

Still an absolutely insane £3,000. But I’d love them!

What website are they being sold on?

The bay of evil. I have a saved search for racingline and see at least one set a month appear. I’m sure if a few were set for different makes it would open up your choices.
Keep in mind most need 19” plus rims to fit due to clearance.

Most will need minimum 18" rims to clear if its 4 or 6pots.

Mines are 8 pots and im running 18's.

I know the Tarox 6pots minimum rim size is 17".
