My octavia is going into limp mode when i accelerate hard, usually about 5-10 seconds in. A part from that it runs great & once the ignition is turned off & on again it reset & the flashing coil disappears

The car was re mapped 2 years ago but has never been a problem before

Prob needs a scan, be a sensor or something I'd imagine.

Had that on my Golf 5, was turbo overboost from a bad map that got gradually worse, eventually the impeller broke loose. Don't let it reach that stage!
