Suspension Knock

Featured Replies

It will be the top mount bearing, no more to say.

Shocks changed.

Top mounts changed.

Noise gone.

A couple of months back my Karoq 1.5 DSG was serviced. On picking it up I was informed that the rear bushes on the front wishbones were coming away from the metal. These bushes connect the wishbones to the anti-roll bar. I was informed that Skoda were aware of a batch of bushes that had a manufacturing defect. Both bushes have been replaced under warranty. With the new bushes I realise that there was a knocking coming from the front.

I've just heard this noise from my car, not as severe yet but its pretty much the same noise. Cars only done 8500 miles (2020 reg).

Back from the garage there, exact same issue as James, both shocks and mounts being replaced next week.

Where did you push inside the engine mate to get it to bounce. I’ve got the same issue so need to do exactly what you’ve done there to record it. What did you say to the dealer? Mines a 23 sportline and it’s done it since I got it 3 weeks ago. Got 6000 miles on it.
