i have a octavia  2.0 diesel DSG with 102k on the clock, 

I travel 50mile round trip to work 5 days over 2weeks so around 1300 mile a month when considering other driving

it is regualry serviced every 10k and DSG is serviced at correct intervals.

 

How many miles can this car rack up, if looked after... can't afford a new used car at the moment and hoping this will last me 2-3 years, suspect in 3years will have around 150k on the clock

What you ask about, and double it.

Look after it. Replace suspension part that wear out. Should be good for double what you have.

Can't find it now, but I'm sure there's a mk3 that was at 375k.  Might be in this thread:

And still great cars

Regular service and maintenance and she will run for years😁

200-300k miles shouldn’t be a problem.

 

Continue changing the oil every 10k with full synthetic one and service rest of the fluids on time, and everything will be fine.
