Central Compartment: Lost Bank Card

Recommended Posts

Hi

Can anyone give a 110% car numpty some guidance.

My mother this evening has lost my fathers debit card, it slipped down the back of the storage compartment in front of the DSG.

Had a quick google and I think it is a case of removing the side panel to try and get access.  See attached image, the panel being where the red line is pointing to.

Any thoughts / advice gratefully received.

Thanks

Paul

Easy to remove switch panel... no need to remove gearshift panel ... the bit shown in green in your picture.

Edit... Think I removed Gearshift panel too... I was fitting extra switches to the switch panel

Tis fairly easy to remove the black trim on the side.

On the far right, u'll c a small plastic cover (#1), that can b popped out using a small flathead screwdriver.

This will reveal a torx screw (#2) that u remove.

Once the screw is out, u simply slide and pull out the trim (#3) gradually.
