Most excellent! Many thanks for this, greatly appreciated.

I might have a go when I have some time. At least it looks like there should be a method of removing said marble, just a little effort required.

edit: when it says “remove centre console” does it mean the whole console or just the transmission? Removing the entire centre console sounds a bit … difficult

Finally removed the marble. It’s wedged in the right side foot well air duct. Metal marble as well so could’ve used a magnet but hey ho :)

Didn’t remove all the trims, only enough to dislodge the vent.
Will definitely buy mesh to cover the vent, any recommendations?

Can you use a hoover with a flexible crevice tool on it to get the marble out?

The vent as an S-shape near the entry so would be bit of a challenge to hoover it out.
Managed to remove the pipe after lifting some of the carpet. I didn’t disconnect the wiring to the seats as it’s long enough to get the seats out of the way.
Very fiddly job but not too bad.

Found vent covers on Amazon and ordered.
Not sure how well it will clip though so we shall see

Good luck 🤞

Slightly OT, does anyone know if this part opens up? Dropped some coins inside and be nice if I can get it out :)

How did the coins get inside it? 🤔

"Dropped" infers gravity.

I think if you accidentally put coins in the card slot they end up inside.

I'm pretty certain it'll be pretty impossible to get them out without breaking it.

I don't doubt that, but the coin slots have a bottom.

If you can get coins stuck by accidentally putting them in the card slots that's right next to the coin slots, then that's terrible design and Simply Stupid (tm).

Same issue :)

This vent pipe, has left and right output part, does it means that whole pipe (going under the floor carpet) is separated?
