Featured Replies

hello

does anyone know the best deal out there for continental 205/50 r17 93w tyres to fit my skoda vrs 's original alloys-best price i have currently is

205/50 r 17 tyres are quiet expensive as they are not in common use. What I did when I needed new tyres for my old vRS was change to 225/45 r 17 tyres, they are surprisingly much cheaper and fit fine onto the standard octy vrs wheel.

:iagree:

Etyres.co.uk sell 225/45R17 Toyo Proxes T-1Rs at less than £100 per corner (fitted - they come to your house or place or work to fit them as well ) and they grip very very well :D:cool:

If you fit the wider tyres do you need to inform your insurers? Is this deemed to be a modification?

no its not a modification as long as you don't change the standard wheels thats what my insurance company said

Mytyres.co.uk are quoting £126.10 a corner delivered they also do goodyear F1 for about £85 great tyres IMHO , I bought Hankook K104 sports for £53 and am impressed with them but suspect they won't last as long as the F1's i'm not sure that the insurance company's won't withhold payment for a diffrent profile of tyre

Mytyres.co.uk are quoting
