Mud flaps ( essential or not necessary?)

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a 2 year old Fabia and due to some of the B roads I travel down I notice that I seem to get a lot of kick up of mud from the wheel.
I was considering getting a quote to supply and fit mud flaps on the front and back of my car from a Skoda main dealer.
just wondering on peoples views and for those of you who do have a set, are they worth it and potential cost?

Fitted mine in 30-minute easy diy job, buy genuine Skoda ones, I would say definitely worthwhile

Cheers Joe, thanks for that

^ Also agree with above. ^

North Dorset here, where B roads are the norm.

I fitted Skoda mud flaps to both my Fabia and Citigo as soon as I bought them.

lt also helps to cut the water spray on faster roads as well, not that there any fast roads around here.

Thanks, AG Falco

You can get genuine Fabia mud flaps on E Bay a good bit cheaper than a Skoda Dealer.👍

I have always fitted front and rear mudflaps to my Fabias.  I bought them from a Skoda main dealer and fitted them myself.  Skoda will charge a fortune for what is an easy DIY job.
