Where to start looking

Have you done all the easy stuff? ... dust the rubber door seals with talc, then using a gentle hose on the door shutlines for a couple of mins spray with water.

Open the door and if the door seals are the problem then where the water ingress is evendent the talc will be missing. Other areas are the windscreen (esp if its been replaced,) scuttle area, wiper spigots etc... could be a long haul I'm afraid.

After the really cold spell in December, I remember opening the passenger door and it feeling quite sticky.

Week later, discovered wet mats and carpet.

Silicone sprayed the door seals, and in my case, that was it.

To dry the inside of the car, after soaking up as much as possible with a sponge, I stuck a shedload of cat litter into an old pillowcase, and left it in the footwell.

Took about a week for the damp smell to go away.

@Bobovare you any further on finding where the H2o is coming in?

I take it you have ice inside this morning.

Was it a lot of water you had in the car? Where was it mostly? I still did not find the reason I had my passenger floor mat wet underneath, I stopped using air-con for now and it seems fine but I din't drive through heavy rain yet. I hope the problem's gone, it didn't make me happy to find this issue and no ways to resolve it!

I hope yours is fixed now!
