Connect lite login issue

I have been happily using the connect lite app for almost a year. It was definitely working OK five days ago because I logged a refuel, but now I can't connect. I attempt to login, and I know that the password is correct (because an incorrect password produces an error message). After I enter the password and click login, I see the attached message. I can see trips, challenges, service and manual, but I can't see statistics, parking and fuel ... so the app is definitely connecting with the dataplug and the car. It's just not letting me login. 

Has anybody had similar issues, and is there a solution? Thank you.

I can also confirm this issue, my account credentials are correct and the plug is connected but I still keep getting error message. 

I am also having the same issues; I believed it was because I had changed my phone, but it must be a wider issue if others are having the same problem.

Thank you for the responses ... at least it's not just me (or my phone). I have emailed the Škoda connect lite customer support team as below, and I will let you know what they say. 

I can't log in to the connect lite app. My password is definitely OK, but I get the attached error message. This problem exists for several other Skoda drivers too, in a range of vehicles and a range of different devices. So it's definitely an app problem rather than a user or device problem. Please advise a workaround or fix. 

Same issue here, had my phone in service and now Connect Lite won't log me in.

Weird enough Skoda Connect works with same credentials, so most likely using different servers.

I've also having the same issue. It started yesterday afternoon and it's still the same today. I even uninstalled the connect lite app and downloaded it again thinking that there was a problem with the app. I hope that when it is fixed that I get my old info back.

Apparently they are migrating data, I got this reply from Skoda:

Thank you for your message about the login issue and we apologize for problems it caused you.

 

We would like to inform you that we are currently migrating our database and this is the most likely cause of the problem with loggin in.

 

 

We expect the migration to be finished during the upcoming days after which the app should return to normal functionality. If the problems persists afterwards, please do no hesitate to message us again and we will be happy to assist you.

 

Again, we apologize for the problem and thank you for your patience.

So God knows when it will be up again! 

Amusingly, the latest update to the app was to correct 'login issues' 🤣😂🤣

Seeing as I'm sat on my couch, connected to my home WiFi, I think I have a stable connection!

I'm getting the same and I also have a very good WiFi connection.

Sounds like the 'updates' and data porting has fooked the app. Situation normal for Big Corp!! 

Have this resolved the issue for anybody else as I’m still having this login problem still?! 😫

Still an issue, it passes log in but fails to load more than 10%. I had this issue before but it was fixed in the end.

It should be up and running soon most likely.

Mine is doing the same, can now log in, but won't install backup. Which is quite annoying as I drove up to Edinburgh yesterday and will be driving back today, now I won't be able to get my distance trophies or points (I'm sad, I know) haha.

Mine is the same as yesterday. No change.

Latest update from Skoda:

Please do not reinstall the app and do not try to log in from a different phone, as it may lead to a loss of data.

So reinstalling the app may well have lost me all my data, but hopefully not.! 

Thanks very much for posting this update. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the app so I'm also hoping that I haven't lost my old data. No doubt that I'll find out next week.

 

Still buggered, now it keeps spinning on this screen!

Yes, I have the same. Hope that it's fixed soon. I'm surprised that there haven't been more comments about this problem. I sometimes think it's just you and I having this trouble.

We all do, i was not posting if i have no update. I will when it works. I kept trying now and than but unsuccessfull.

Meanwhile MySkoda god an update (logo) have been asked to login and it works very well but does not offer what Connect Lite does :)

Tried now still the same can't pass 10%.

Latest news:

I'm now getting this screen, it's obviously logged me in as it's picking up the name I gave my car (don't judge, flying white horse OK?) but won't pick up any historical data and still craps out at the 'transmitting data backup' stage 😱

Stuck like this, just now. Than it stopped with Data transmission failed.

Everything seems to be working now. However I didn't get a restore of my previous data which is annoying as I had recorded every refuel and every journey.

Anyone know if there is a way to get this data back? I've tried to contact Connect Lite by phone but no-one is picking up the phone.

Yes finally logged in, but all data us lost.

I was on Platinum (100000+ points) now beginner 18 points. You cannot do anything with the point s in Romania anyway :)
