Arteon Seats to fit Superb

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I have a Superb Mk3 with regular textile seats and I'm investing options to fit leather sears. Unfortunately, I'm not able to find original leather seats from another Superb, but however I have an opportunity to take from Arteon.

So my question is if someone has done this? Whether the seats would fit (specifically I'm concerned about the backseats).

Thanks all in advance!

I wouldn’t think they would. On the front seats, the chance that the seat runners would be in the same location, the seat width would be the same and the electrical controls would be compatible would be, well, unlikely. Putting aside the width, depth and length of the rear cushion matching the Superb, rear seat back fittings will not be the same. And they won’t match the doorcards or headlining.
This could be a much better approach….

If you want seats that fit a Superb get Superb seats, it could be more trouble than its worth trying to get non Superb seats to fit, not to mention the cost and hassle involved.

Perhaps ask a seat upholsterer how much it would cost to recover your current seats.

I actually think they might fit. Plenty stories of people fitting non-skoda seats in Octavias. If you have physical access to the arteon seats I'd take a tape to them and compare. You definitely need to match electric spec. If you currently have heated then you need that.  One thing you may need to do is change the plugs. A trip to a scrap yard should sort that.

If you have the ability to return the seats if they don't fit then go for it! Even if the seat rails are different, chances are you can swap them over from your existing seats. I'd bet they fit in the front at least. Rear is less likely but if both are black leather then normal Superb rears will be fine.

I'd be keen to understand if this works.
