I've recently noticed that the DSG transmission in my Superb has started to make a small but noticable whine when on a partial or closed throttle. It only lasts a second or two and is intermittent but is it a common issue? The car has just passed 35k miles and is due to have the DSG serviced later in the year.

Was the Haldex serviced properly @ 3 years / 30,000 miles or sooner and not just the oil changed? 

It was done last year. I’d assumed it wasn’t that as the noise happens when the drivetrain isn’t under load but may be wrong. 

There’s a very slight whine when I back off around 30mph, but it’s not there at faster speeds. The filters and fluids were cleaned and changed a year ago.
