Hi,

As far as I'm aware KESSY doesn't come as standard and is an option on the Colour trim.

I've got the SE L which just has keyless start.

Here's the video for how to operate KESSY if you do have it on your car; https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/kessy_en/

Many thanks looks like I've not got it ,  not too bothered and would not pay extra for it

Its is a bit miss leading from Skoda as specs says Color model has KESSY

Cheers Steve

I think that the "Kessy" name also covers "Keyless Entry Start Stop System", and also "Keyless Start and Stop System" which is a little confusing.

I've attached the SE L and Colour spec below which refers to Kessy as just Keyless Engine Start and Stop

Yep very confusing using same acronym for 2 different levels of features ...

If I don't have keyless door lock and unlock and just keyless start , is it more save and  will I need to keep key in a Faraday pouch ?

I'm no expert, but I'd say yes keyless start is safer compared to keyless entry. The thief would have to force their way into the car first and would probably set off the car's alarm before attempting to relay the signal to start the car.

Nothing wrong with keeping the fob in a Faraday pouch, but probably isn't necessary.
