Went for a meeting at a Hospital today, as I do on numerous occasions as part of my daily work.

Parked up, as you do, went and had my meeting returned to my car (Which I have only had for 2 months) and found that some complete ****ING **** had reversed into the drivers door, casusing a serious amount of damage (Looks like it was done by a 4x4). Not only that, they had driven off not leaving any details or anything

Called in at my local bodyshop on the way home from work and was informed that I'm looking at at least

Commiserations m8, half the 4x4 drivers don't have any idea how to drive let alone spacial awareness, hope they find the b'stards and ban em from the roads. Sounds like a right pain in the as5 tho best of luck and hope you don't end up out of pocket.

Sorry to hear about that mate. Dont get your hopes up on the CCTV case, a lot of the time... they come back and say they never found anything... well they do in London.

Wish you all the best!

Sorry to hear about this, John :(

Gutted for you:mad: Hope the cctv turns something up.

Bad luck fella, I think i would cry as well, and it would make me intolerably grumpy:(

Bad luck. CCTV will catch the barsteward. Hope you get it fixed soon.

Very sorry mate.

Hope everything gets sorted but dealing with the insurance is gonna be a nightmare (talking from my own personal experience).

Make sure you take into account all the time you spend on the phone and keep receipts for everything and screw the kn0b who did this to you.

Best of luck!!

4x4 drivers are complete *****

Went to pick my lad up from Scout camp down a single track road, traffic snarled up because some arrogant spunk bubble in a New Korean 4x4 wouldn't go near the hedgerow in case he scratched it.

Everyone else was happy was happy to put there cars up the bank and let him pass:finger:

Let's hope the new tax laws come in and penalise these arrogant sods.

Good luck with the search.

I feel better after that, now wheres my Solero gone................wifey....ooeeeee:P

Wish you the very best mate, its always the cars that are looked after that end up damaged. Or the good drivers that have to suffer because of others incompetance.

Wouldn't hold your hopes up on CCTV though.

Hope its a swift recovery for the car and insurance doesn't bugger you around (also speaking from experiance).

Tough luck m8. Someone did the same to my (ex-)Golf in my gym car park. Whatever happened to honesty, integrity and good old-fashioned neighbourliness? Or failing that, a good kick in the radiator of the culprit? And on another subject, why should this affect the NCD on my motorbike????

this is of no consolation to you but my neighbour parked his PUG 206 half on the pavement half off and someone across the road backed out with their landrover disco and wrecked the rear quarter , this is the bit you wont like , they left their name and address under his wiper , which was a good thing as he hadn't seen the damage when he got in the car , their insurance paid for the repair , full rear quarter , tyre , and full side respray . Anyway i hope you get the t##ts too pay up

Unlucky mate. Hope they catch the scum.

Thanks for all the comments guy's. Bit more composed now. To tell you the truth its all the hassel in getting things sorted rather than the damage that's pi$$ing me off now.

On the positive side the respray of the front wing will take care of a little dint, nasty scratch and a few stone chips.

Once its all sorted may have to treat the old girl to something from here;

Got a reg?

I haven't, but the Hospital have and the Police will have. Can't give it to me due to the Data Protection Act, so I have been informed.

Hmm, that's rubbish. Never mind, best of luck.

Only just seen this. Can't believe it happened to the new Saab :thumbdwn: Hope the w*nkers are caught and pay up.

Cheers mate, **** happens, could have been worse, at the end of the day I'll get the car back looking as new. Like I've said its just the hassel of getting things sorted.
