I have a 2015 Fabia 1.4 SE TDi, the multimedia head unit i have has the mirror link on it but not compatible with iphone 14 pro max and doesnt have car play, i have bought a 2017 head unit from a salvage.

my question is will i need to have a code for the radio or is it plug and play?

also if i disconnect my old radio will it still work if i takeout to try the radio and replace it if the radio ive bought doesnt work?

The head unit comes in two parts, the display unit and the control unit itself. Looks like you've only got the display unit there.

hello, ia have the exact multimedia system Bolero v h11 and i want to replace the head unit only , i have seen that the part number is the same for various models like Octavia ,vw,etc. 

i have found some spare units 216r mb1 head unit, i assume it's an Amundsen unit my question is if they are compatible and if no can sameone tell me if it is a compatible head unit with android auto ?
