Hi - hope someone can help! I’m looking to change infotainment from Swing in an Octavia 3 Combi from 2015 to Columbus Mib 2 (8”), is it then sufficient to buy the screen on eBay? I.e. without additional cables, converters and without the glovebox device? Also, there is no glovebox device/cdplayer in my car with the Swing. What is the function of the glovebox unit - is it only to provide maps for navigation ? Because then it wouldn’t be a problem as I will be using the Apple CarPlay maps.
