Greetings, I've been trying to make that turbo flutter sound for quite some time. 

I understand that I need to find and cancel the blow off valve

I've been trying for some time to identify this valve or figure out how I can get that sound on my 1.9 tdi ALH engine.

The only modification to the engine is a sports air filter. 

What can I do to get that turbo flutter sound?

1. Jack up steering wheel
2. Remove Octavia
3. Insert non-VAG petrol engine car
4. Lower steering wheel.

If you have not worked it out from the above response, diesel engines do not have blow off valves.

They are fundamentally different to petrol turbo engines. 

 

 

I hadn't worked it out, I got stuck on how to jack up a steering wheel!
